Rental Options: We have three mail box sizes available: Standard, Medium and Large. Rentals will be pro-rated to the first of the month and can be rented for 3, 6, or 12 months at a time.

Information needed to set up a mailbox

The United States Postal Service requires two forms of identification in order to set up a mailbox.

 

The Primary ID must be a Photo ID card. It must be clearly current/not expired photo ID. Select one from this list:

 

  • Driver License or State ID (Can be US State; US Territory or Tribal Driver License or Non Driver ID Card);
  • Passport (US passport or passport card; foreign passport);
  • Uniformed Service ID;
  • US University/College ID;
  • Matricula Consular (Mexico) or NEXUS (Canada) ID;
  • US certificate of citizenship or naturalization;
  • US permanent resident of other ID card issues by the U.S.C.I.S.

The Secondary ID is for address verification. Address must be current and appear on the document. Select one from this list. Note, two IDs are required; if a Driver License is used for the Primary ID, it cannot be used for the Secondary.

 

  • Driver License or State ID (Can be US State; US Territory or Tribal Driver License or Non Driver ID Card);
  • Current Lease, Mortgage, Deed of Trust;
  • Vehicle Registration;
  • Voter Registration;
  • Home or Vehicle Insurance Policy.

In addition to the two IDs, a completed Service Agreement and a completed United States Postal Service Form PS 1583* (application for delivery of mail through agent). These are generated at our location when setting up your mailbox service.

 

If the mailbox is for a business, provide proof of ownership of the business such as a copy of the business registration from the secretary of state's office or articles of incorporation. Note: the mail box address is a mailing address only. Although it is a physical street address, it cannot be used as a registered agent address, nor a principal place of business, nor as an internet address such as Googletm place or map location. Remote Application Process

 

If you are moving to Eugene, or otherwise need to recieve mail in Eugene, you can open the mailbox remotely. There is a $25.00 fee for remote application process. Please review the ID requirements above. Send us a clear copy of the two forms of identification for each person who will be listed on the mailbox. Once we receive the required IDs, and you let us know the length of your initial service term, we will email or mail you a service agreement and a postal service form known as a 1583. The service agreement will need to be signed; the 1583 will need to be notarized. Do not sign the 1583 until instructed to do so by a notary public. You will then send us the paperwork via Courier or Mail and we will email you an invoice that can be paid online via a credit card.

 

*1583s must be kept current. If any of the information changes, or if either either of the two IDs expire, you will need to provide new ID information. This information will be uploaded to the United States Postal Services customer database.
